Canine First Aid Course
This course, hosted by Happy Buddies, is run by First Aid For Dogs and is designed to empower dog owners and dog professionals with the knowledge and confidence to deal with situations that require basic first aid for their canine companions.
It will be held at South Park Scout Hut on Sandcross Lane, Reigate, Surrey RH2 8HH.
The course will cover:
The vet and your role in first aid
Keeping your pet safe in an emergency
Car accidents
Dog proofing your home
How dogs show pain
Dealing with breathing and respiratory problems including choking
Dog CPR and drowning
Broken bones, spinal injury and moving an injured dog
Controlling bleeding, dressings and bandages
Paw problems
Ears, eyes and mouth
Signs of illnesses
Poisoning, bites and stings
Burns and temperature related problems
Seizures and epilepsy
Pet first aid kits
Once completed, participants will receive a CPD certificate of attendance valid for 3 years and a helpful First Aid for Dogs easy reference manual.

This course, hosted by Happy Buddies, is run by First Aid For Dogs and is designed to empower dog owners and dog professionals with the knowledge and confidence to deal with situations that require basic first aid for their canine companions.
It will be held at South Park Scout Hut on Sandcross Lane, Reigate, Surrey RH2 8HH. It is likely that this course will go ahead as planned at the Scout Hut however, Covid Government guidance can change at anytime, so please DO NOT BOOK THIS COURSE IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO UNDERTAKE ONLINE TRAINING. Refunds will not be issued in the event that you cancel because the course transfers online.
Please also note that the wearing of face masks may still be required, this is to keep everyone in attendance as safe as possible.
