I cannot recommend Happy Buddies dog training enough! As first time dog owners, my boyfriend and I needed a little extra guidance following the arrival of our bouncy Boston Terrier puppy, Opie. We have had a brilliant time at puppy school. A new puppy can be hard work but this course has really helped and was great value for money.

Amanda is fantastic with all the puppies (and humans) and made learning easy and fun. The course is well structured and you can see a clear development path. Whilst everyone learns the same material, the individual needs of each puppy are catered for (on more than one occasion we asked for additional tips).

The last session in particular was so much fun and really showed how much everyone learned over the six weeks.

I made contact with Amanda prior to getting a rescue dog. She was a fountain of knowledge and advice even recommending good kennels, specilaists and walking services. Her help extended into the early weeks of ownership and a month after our adoption we went for our first 1-2-1 training session today. Amanda has a relaxed but enthusiastic manner which quickly settled both the dog and its owner! She devoted all her time to improving our dog's (Luna) confidence and also helping me on a variety of dog owning subjects. It was a real pleasure to work with someone who obviously loves her job and is so keen to provide an excellent service. Amanda is highly recommended.

We have done two puppy trainings with Amanda - beginners and advanced. Amanda is an excellent trainer and makes all the classes a lot of fun. She breaks things down into easy to understand segments and is very encouraging when at first you don’t succeed. Training is the key to a dog’s happiness (and your happiness with your dog...!) and in my view you can’t find a better trainer than Amanda. Can’t wait for dog university...!

I have done both 1-2-1 training and puppy school with Amanda and she is great! She explains the core concepts in such a clear understandable way so you know exactly how your dog is feeling. Amanda then builds on that knowledge to encourage good behaviours or learn new commands. She is very good at picking up on both good and bad cues during training to keep you and your pup on track.

I would highly recommend Amanda for Puppy School and any other services she offers. Amanda is amazing with dogs and it goes to show with everything I have seen with her. Many thanks to Beth's help during the course!

Taking our little cockapoo puppy rosie to happy buddies puppy classes has been the most amazing experience. In the last 5 weeks not only has rosie learnt so much but we have too as first time puppy parents. Amanda has such a great way with not only the puppies but their families too. on each demonstration she will pick a different puppy and will adapt it to the level that they are at. the puppy classes have been such an enjoyable experience and we would highly recommend other people to go!

 Amanda is amazing. Full of knowledge. I have learnt a lot in the 6 weeks of puppy school. Small size classes shich allows Amanda and Beth to adapt to the needs of your puppy. I will be taking some one on one sessions to help me with some quirks my puppy has but the classes have given me a good grounding. I'm so glad I choice to do Puppy School with Amanda, she is a great trainer and extremely helpful. Being a first-time owner I really needed guidance which is what Amanda provided and more. She would always go out her way to provide some breed specific information and tips and never judged when homework didn't quite go to plan. Myself and my Daxie enjoyed it so much we signed up to the follow on Canine College. Amanda's assistant Bethan is also a credit to Happy Buddies, she was a great help playing and calming puppies during the class.
