Highly Commended Animal Trainer Of The Year!
On Saturday 5 March 2022, I attended the Animal Star Awards where I was a finalist in the Dog Trainer of the Year 2021 category.
The Animal Star Awards is a National Awards programme which was launched in 2016 to give recognition to animals and humans alike for the extraordinary things they do for one another whilst raising money for animal charities.
During the awards night, I was extremely honoured to be awarded the Highly Commended Certificate for Dog Trainer of the Year and I'm hugely proud of this achievement.
Happy Buddies exists all because of my beautiful Lhasa Apso Buddy. He gave me the courage to leave a job I had felt so frustrated and uninspired in for so long and to follow my passion for working with dogs. So I set up Happy Buddies and have never looked back since! I have never been happier in my work!
Receiving the award of Highly Commended in the Animal Star Awards, Dog Trainer of the Year category is down to Buddy and of course, my other wonderful dog Fudge! I honestly couldn't love these two little monkeys anymore than I do! They're proud as punch of their mummy and I'm so proud of them too!
The awards night was such a great evening and a brilliant opportunity to spend time with inspirational people who do such wonderful things for animals and to meet some very amazing dogs too!
